金鶯旅美左投陳偉殷昨日繳出8局無失分的優質表現，球團卻在17日宣布將他下放至高階1A，預計10天後才能重返大聯盟，將跳過一次先發；對此他在臉書表示相當失望。

金鶯總教練修瓦特(Buck Showalter)表示，陳偉殷上週就感到身體不適，加上一些「其他因素」，決定將他下放高A做調整，並挪出位置從3A拉上外野手帕米利(Chris Parmelee)，「我們最重要的，是確保陳偉殷9、10月還能在大聯盟繳出昨晚那樣出色的表現。」

按照先發輪值，陳偉殷原訂在21日先發出戰藍鳥，但經過調度後，若球隊沒有球受傷，他最快要10天後才能重返大聯盟，因此將跳過這次先發。

稍早，陳偉殷在臉書上發表聲明，解釋球團的調度，「因為之前經紀人所談的合約內容沒有受限制和拒絕任意下放條款，目前球隊需要大聯盟名單位子來提供給一名小聯盟外野手，所以有這個調度。」

陳偉殷說：「昨天完成八局投球後，我身體狀況及投球感覺都很好。我很健康，可以繼續在大聯盟出賽，球隊的調度跟我的健康沒有關係。謝謝大家的關心。」但他也強調，對於球隊這個影響到他調整以及作息的安排感到失望。

歷經開季一勝難求的低潮，陳偉殷最近狀況回穩，目前處於2連勝，本季出賽13場其中8場優質先發，戰績3勝4負，防禦率2.89領先金鶯先發投手群。

從3A被拉上大聯盟的帕米利，本季小聯盟出賽61場，繳出6發全壘打32分打點，打擊三圍3成12/3成81/4成44。
